Also be thoughtful, Do you want your child to wrestle or does he? It has to be something the child wants to do for him to be successful. The Jr. Patriots is a wrestling club for youth wrestlers ranging from kindergarten-eighth grade. Some eigth graders will be asked to wrestle with the junior varsity at the coaches request. Returners, we look forward to seeing you on the mat again. If your wrestler doesn't attend Herschel Jones Middle, South Paulding Middle, Scoggins Middle School, New Georgia El., Allgood El., Poole El., Ragsdale El.or Dallas Elementary and is not in Paulding County High School's District you will need to email Coach C-W ( coach@pauldingcountywrestling.com ) before joining the Jr. Patriots. The County High School lines will be redrawn at the end of this school year. South Paulding's enrollment is currently over 2050 and Paulding County's is only at 1400, meaning many students that were districted to attend South Paulding High School may be redistricted to Paulding County. Paulding County High School's District may also draw some students that are barely in North Paulding's district as well. We won't know until the county redraws the lines later this year, most likely in the spring. We hope to bring as many new wrestlers into the program this year as we can. We are looking for 50 new wrestlers from our feeder schools. We will be taking on at least 10-15 new out of district wrestlers as well. We look forward to adding to adding our middle school numbers again this year. My goal is to build a team that can compete in all the middle school weights. Middle school Dual tournaments are happening around the state and PCHS needs to have a team in them soon. Their will be a bus that will pick students up afterschool from Herschel Jones again this year. My Herschel jones visit went great. i met many possible future wrestlers that day. I hope all the students that were interested come out this year. Any student from South Paulding Middle or Scoggins Middle that wants to wrestle and will feed into PCHS please contact Coach C-W. I want all of our kids in our program if we can get them here. What are the Middle School Weight Classes you wonder? 65, 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 175, 190, 210, 235, 260
